Marimekko’s coated cotton fabric is adorned with the joyful Auringonkukka print, Finnish for “sunflower”. Designed by Maija Isola in the 1950s, the print is one of Isola’s numerous plant-themed patterns, embodying her deep and unwavering love for nature.
The fabric is made of 100% cotton and has an acrylic coating, which makes it extremely easy to keep clean – just wipe it with a damp cloth. The fabric is perfect for making a custom tablecloth, for example.
