Marimekko’s coated Hyräily fabric is adorned with Maija Louekari’s charming and carefree pattern from 2021. Named after the Finnish word for humming, the hand-painted motif depicts the rhythm of lighthearted humming. Hyräily draws inspiration from the unique beauty of everyday life – the relaxed striped pattern shows that everything doesn’t have to be planned and strictly on point to be perfect.
The fabric is made of 100% cotton and has an acrylic coating, which makes it extremely easy to keep clean – the fabric is perfect for making a custom tablecloth, for example.
